Wardrobe Stylist

Like most stylists, I don’t have “formal” fashion training.  I was always dressing friends, found myself dressing up to run errands and reading every fashion magazine on the rack.  As for my own style, there is nothing Tom Ford or Karl Lagerfeld designed that I wouldn’t wear, and now I find my wardrobe is simpler, sleek and with a touch of glamour and  a subtle sexiness. Dressing demands careful consideration as it is my job. I buy pieces that will work into my current wardrobe that transcend  trends and create a polished  silhouette. I love mixing vintage with designer...I rarely wear the same outfit twice....getting dressed is one of my favorite parts of the day!

As a freelance stylist, I do not work for any particular brand or retail store (although I have my favorite boutiques).  My clients expect to get an unbiased and honest opinion of what to wear and how to accessorize, while remaining comfortable and stylish.  My goal is to create a look for each individual in a way that reveals their personality and unique shape. Everyone's lifestyle is reflected in what they wear, and one's wardrobe must fit and be flattering.

Ten years ago, the occupation of a wardrobe stylist didn’t exist, with the exception of magazine fashion features or high-end print campaigns.   Today, a wardrobe stylist goes hand-in-hand with a personal trainer, interior designer or publicist.  At the end of the day personal style is  the most flattering reflection of ones personality.
